Research Interests
Ellen WanHeung Yeung received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Arizona State University with health and quantitative emphases. After graduation, she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Arizona Health and Aging Laboratory. During this time, she worked extensively on applying the state-of-the-art statistical modeling techniques to multiple NIH funded R01 projects, addressing the influences of risk and resilience factors on mental and physical health among community and chronic pain samples. She specializes in modeling physiology, diary, and intervention data with repeated measures. To further develop her quantitative interests, she joined the Institute for Interdisciplinary Salivary Bioscience Research in August 2014, which allows her to focus on developing research method and statistical analysis for salivary bioscience. In addition, she serves as an instructor at the statistical workshop – Spit Camp II.
