Research Interests
Dr. Laurent received her graduate training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, specializing in developmental interpersonal stress research. She completed her clinical internship at the University of Washington Medical School in Seattle and an NIMH-funded postdoctoral fellowship in Developmental Clinical Neuroscience at the University of Oregon in Eugene. She is now an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Oregon, where she directs the Personal Relationships, Interpersonal Stress, and Mindfulness (PRISM) Lab. Her work focuses on understanding and preventing the intergenerational transmission of stress dysregulation and integrates behavioral, neuroendocrine, neurotrophic, and neural activation measures to define regulation.
