Salivary bioscience research covers a wide variety of disciplines, approaches, and methodologies all centered around the use of minimally invasive sampling of oral fluid for evaluation of individual and intra-individual change in biological processes. Although IISBR projects range across the broad spectrum basic and applied sciences, much of the core faculty center on research that uses salivary biomarkers to assess, predict, and improve human mental and physical health.
Publications
Our teams’ publications reveal the breadth of the areas of research in which salivary bioscience is being integrated, the depth of our collaborations, and speak to the nature of working in collaborative teams to study the complex interrelationships among biology, behavior, and context. Our teams’ publications reveal the breadth of the areas of research in which salivary bioscience is being integrated, the depth of our collaborations, and speak to the nature of working in collaborative teams to study the complex interrelationships among biology, behavior, and context.
